INGE HANSEN, MY MOTHER'S SIDE OF THE FAMILY

INGE HANSEN

Inge is from the countryside, but ends up being a real arch-Copenhagen'er. She lives in Copenhagen from the age of 24 until she dies at the age of almost 80 years, with a detour to Roskilde for a shorter period.
Inge was a little hypersensitive to living in the countryside, which is probably very understandable.

SUMMARY INGES SIDE

Inge Hansen:

Inge Hansen was born in this house. The picture is from approx. 1909, and shows her father and some of his siblings as well as his mother.
The house is located in Glostrup, Egebjerg which was, and still is, far out in the countryside in Odsherred. It was from this environment that she "fled" in 1951 to marry my Father.

Inges parents, Anna Valborg og Georg Hansen

Valborg and Georg were married in the church at Sjællands Odde in 1926. This church is, among other things, famous for its many sea heroes and warriors. And that N.F.S Grundtvig's father was a priest in this church 1766 -1776. But the church is also very significant in my lineage. It has formed the framework for many baptismal acts, confirmations, weddings and funerals among the ancestors on my mother's side.

The five emigrated brothers:

This is the story of 5 of Georg's brothers who all chose to emigrate to the United States in the years from 1911 to 1916. They emigrated individually, but it will be clear that throughout life had a lot to do with each other. Most of them lived in Yellow Medicine county in Minnesote, where they worked as farmers

Inges Mother's parents, Anna Katrine Sophie Larsen and no known father

Anna Kristine Sophie has lived all her life on Sjællands Odde, and from approx. 1921 until her death around 1965, on this Estate (matr. 9c Yderby) which was built in 1870 and taken over by Lars Peter Larsen in 1921. At about the same time Anna Kristine Sophie and Lars Peter got married and got their son Niels Poul.

Inges Mothers Mothers parents, Ane Sørensdatter and Niels Larsen

Ane and Niels had a very short but extremely eventful and productive marriage. They were married in April 1872 at Odden church, and Niels sadly died as early as October 1883.
Ane never remarried, but lived as a widow and did so very well and very skillfully, a great flock of children despite.

Inges Mothers Fathers parents, not known

As there is no obvious child father to Anna Valborg, the parents do not exist either.
So there are no stories of them in this genealogy history book.

Inges Fathers parents, Cæcilie Margrethe Cristiane Christiansdatter and Hans Hansen

Hans and Cæcilie were married in Egebjerg church on July 18, 1884. They both came from not rich families, but together they formed a large, healthy and very interesting family with 10 children, only one of whom died as a child.

Inges Fathers Mothers parents, Anne Kirstine Pedersdatter and Niels Christian Christianssøn

Ane Kristine and NIels Christian were probably the most "real Egebjergere" in the family. They were both born, confirmed, married, and died in Egebjerg, and all their children were born in Egebjerg. Egebjerg, more specifically Abildøre, was the place where they lived their long marriage together.

Inges Fathers Fathers parents, Ane Margrethe Frederiksdatter and assumed childfather Hans Larsen

Ane Margrethe Fredeiksdatter was born in Høve in Odsherred, where her father Frederik Hansen was a mill worker on Høve Mølle when she was born.
Ane Margrethe lived most of her life in Højby, where she had a child out of wedlock, Hans Hansen, which is my ancestor.
